Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need a trial?
A trial is essential to being able to guarntee to nail down the look. At the trial we consult over your vision or I help my brides with helping them come up with a style that fits their dress and vibe of the wedding. A ton of pictures and notes are taken.
  • How long does the trial take?
I allocate 2 hours for a bridal hair trial and 3-4 hours for a bridal hair and makeup trial.
  • Do you offer bridal party hair and makeup services?
I offer event styling hair and makeup services in the salon and also in my exclusive bridal package. Bridal party packages do not allow me the time to do both. With my bridal party packages I refer my brides to some of my favorite makeup artists that I love to work with.
  • When do I need to make my deposit?
Deposits are made when you are ready to hold the date and sign a contract. Once you have made your deposit the date is yours and your deposit is deducted at the time of your final payment.
  • How far in advance do I need to book to save the date?
Most brides book their dates at least 6 months out. If you are getting married in peak season (March, April, May, June, September, October) you may need to book up to 9 months in advance.
  • Are there travel fees?
There is no travel fee up to a 25 mile radius from an artist’s point of origin. A $1 per mile travel fee will be added for every mile from origin to destination after 25 miles. Are there any other added fees to be aware of? There is a second location fee of $200 if artists are needed to set up at two seperate locations. Some brides like to take advantage of my my extension rental service which is an additional fee of $50 Any parking fees the artists may encounter are expected to be paid for by the wedding party
